gdk_gc_set_exposures has been deprecated since version 2.22 and should not be used in newly-written code. There is no replacement. If you need to control
exposures, you must use drawing operations of the underlying window
system or use gdk_window_invalidate_rect(). Cairo will never
generate exposures.
